- ItemCOMPATIBILITY OF HIGHER EDUCATION PROGRAM WITH PROFESSIONAL EMPLOYMENT: A STRATEGIC PERSPECTIVE ON EDUCATIONAL FUNDING EFFECTIVENESS(Journal of Institutional Research South East Asia, 2005) Sutoko, Mame S; Faustine, PetrinaRaising the issue of higher education program contents into a discussion, the immediate phenomena debated would mostly be on the subjects of the compatibility of the program with the practice at the work place. Secondly, it would be on its influence in the employment. The more compatible the program with the work place, it is perceived as the easier it will be for the graduates to be employed. This employment will “process” the graduates into professionals. In this context, it will not be exaggerating to conclude that compatibility of higher education program contents will be influential to professional employment. Consequently, the easier the graduate of the higher educational institutions be employed, the more effective the funding.
- ItemTHE EXISTENCE OF OVERALL SATISFACTION IN SERVICE CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP'S(MAGISTER MANAGEMENT UGM, 2006-09) ZulganefGarbarino and Johnson (1999)find that there is no correlation between overall satisfaction and loyalty in the field of customer relationship. Their$nding indicates that satisfaction is no longeran important issue in managing service organizations. This research investigates the existence of satisfaction in service organizations, which have relationships with customers. Contrary to Garbarino and Johnson's (1999) finding, this research finds that overall satisfaction, through commitment, has a relationship with loyalty. Hence, customer satisfaction is still a main issue with respect to managing service organizations, especially service organizations that have customer-relationship strategy. Survey method was conducted to test- 12 hypotheses, and the sample of this research is customers of credit cardholders and supermarket. cardholders. Sample size is 382 consisting of 196 (51.3%) credit cardholders and I86 (48.7%) supermarket cardholders. Data were analyzed using two-step structural equation modelling technique. In addition, this research also shows that investigators and managers should pay attention to affects, because affects have a unique role in relationship customer behavior

W N o . 21 Tahun 2008 as an adequate law can provide better protection for inverstors. In Bagir Manan 's views, adequate laws contain three important elements existing in Acts (UU). The three elements are juridical, sociological, andphilosophical aspects. From thej uridical aspect, the regulating syaria banking enenstinign UU No.21 Tahun 2008 is bound in nature. Sociological aspect is accomodated in offeredproducts and services covering universal banking. Philosophical aspect is the improvement in justice based on syaria prnciples. The constraints of UU No. 21 Tahw 2008 are that this Act has not been comprehensive on regulating the implementation of banking activities orproducts by means of electronic facilities as the impacts of global economy bringing to national economic development. The aforementioned legal problems require specific rules such as separately regulating.

- ItemTHE PRODUCT PORTFOLIO: REVISITED ASSESSING COMPETITIVE POSITION IN EDUCATIONAL SERVICES SECTOR(Journal Review of Management Innovation and Creativity, 2011) Sutoko, Mame S.; Muchlis, Tanti IrawatiThe product portfolio concept, firstly introduced by Bruce D. Henderson (1970), the founder of Boston Consulting Group, has been widely known as a milestone in Business Strategy literature. This analytical tool was so appealing and has been attracting a wide discussion since almost 40 years ago for its simplicity in assessing competitive position of company products and formulating strategic programs for future growth and development. Surprisingly, despite of its popularity, there were only a few reports on its application in practice. A widespread confusion and misunderstanding on how to put this analytical tool at work was seemingly the main root hampering any implementation attempt. Literature stuck only at introductory level of the concept, losing words of how to describe further the details for application. This report shares the experience of Widyatama University in using the said Product Portfolio for assessing its competitive posture and shows the advantage of this simple powerful technique. Market share and growth are among industry factors linked directly to profitability, a basic structural model, long time studied and revealed by the discipline of industrial economics, triggering many empirical studies. While quality of educational services remain undoubtedly an ultimate competitive advantage, the recent pressure and growing opinion treating higher education more as private services, places this sector under market competition law and market share becomes a determinant factor affecting sustainability of any higher education institution

This type of research is descriptive verification research, because it describes the variables and observes the correlation of these variables from the hypothesis that has been made systematically through statistical testing. The statistical test use path analysis and the examination of the hypothesis in this research using two ways: simultaneous test and individual test (partial), using t-test and f-test. Empirical test results that the CPA firm size does not significantly affect to audit quality in public accounting firm in Bandung, whereas the amount of audits significantly affect to quality of audit and simultaneously CPA firm size and audit fees do not significantly affect to quality of audit in public accounting firm in Bandung.

- ItemITERATIVE MEMORY SHARED PROCESSOR ARRAY (MSPN ARCHITECTURE DESIGN FOR CHANNEL ESTIMATION OF DOWNLINK OFDM IEEE 802.16A SYSTEM(International Journal of Computer Science and Network Security, 2011-10-30) Galih, Savitri; Adiono, Trio; Kurniawan, Adit; IskandarWiMAX communication system has spectrum alocation that enable wireless service operator to operate throughout the world including the rural area. WiMAX is suitable for development country condition, where wiring infrastructures are limited. This advantages make WiMAX become a desirable future wireless technology that can be implemented in an developed archipelago country like Indonesia. WiMAX Communication System needs accurate channel estimation process to predict fluctuative channel condition in order to equalize received signal with the transmitted signal. Channel Estimation recent studies, mostly analyzed the algorithm side without considering implementation issue. The hardware implementation of complex signal processing algorithm such as MMSE(Minimum Mean Square Error) chamel estimation with high computational complexity. are required to achieve robust trasmission, whereas mobile wireless aplication require low power dissipation. Therefore we need an algorithm mapping method to the corresponding hardware architecture that practically fits with overall system hardware. The proposed architecture aims to achieve low power and efficient resource utilization by using iterative memory shared architecture.

- ItemOPTIMIZING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF E-LEARNING STRATEGIES IN HIGHER EDUCATION(International Journal of e-Education, E-Business, e-Management and e-Leraning, 2012-04) Istambul, Muhammad RozahiAs part of quality assurance, a tertiary education institution has the obligation to plan and design the best methods for students to follow and understand what is taught. Sometimes, a skilled professor may be able to convey materials which are quickly comprehended by the students. However, it is not infrequent that many lecturers experience difficulties in delivering easily understood by students due to various conditions, such as limited time, the class atmosphere, and various conveniences which often rise in a classroom. A feasible solution to the problems is implementing e-learning in supporting the learning process. In concept, e-learning will help transfering knowledge from teacher to student. Yet, many schools engaged in establishing an e-learning system do not see a significant improvement in knowledge transfer, as explained in various existing e-learning concepts. Such implementation is of little use because what is invested is not in line with expectations. Optimization in this case is crucial where a university puts efforts in reviewing the extent to which the role of e-learning can be achieved. Certainly, the role of a system in developing e-learning needs required focused attention because it will affect the culture of all parties involved. Index Terms- learning strategies, transfer knowledge, strategy domain, optimization
