    8 PRINSIP MANAJEMEN MUTU DALAM REALITA PENERAPAN ISO 9001:2008 DI UNIVERSITAS X BANDUNG

    Optimal Implementation of quality management system ISO 9001:2008in a private higher education institution should improve the quality of the performance which in turn can raise the competitiveness and sustainability of the higher education institutions. This study analyzes implementation of ISO 9001:2008 quality management systems at the University X Bandung that classified based on the level of interest and performance in their respective quadrants using Importance- Performance Analysis (IPA Method). After the Cartesian diagram have been outlined, be obtained that Focus on the Customer, Leadership, and Continual Improvement Process Principles at University X are very satisfied. The Involvement of Personnel Principle and The Making Decisions based on Facts Principle are included to the repairing main priority. The Mutually Beneficial Relationships with Suppliers Principle is defined as low priority. The Process Approach Principle and The System Approach to Management Principle are excessive categories. Furthermore, this research is continuing with identify the causes of repaired principles main priority using fishbone diagram and found that the 3rdprinciple is low was caused by the institutional behavior is not support to personnel involvement, in addition to the 7thprinciple is still low too, was caused by decision maker skill is still not good. Finally, the solution alternatives from that causes would be found using tree diagram.

    BUILDING GREEN PURCHASING BEHAVIOR

    Over the past three decades, attention to environmental sustainability has become a hot topic in the international arena. This issue resulted in the number of companies that developing green products to be growing rapidly. In fact, the pro-environment attitude does not lead directly to the green purchasing behavior. This research offers how to build green purchasing behavior by observing 4 research objects in the form of environmental attitude (EA), green marketing perceptions (GMP), green purchasing willingness (GPW), and green purchasing behavior (GPB).The survey was conducted on consumers of household appliances/food/beverage products sold in several supermarkets in Indonesia with random sampling techniques. The research method uses descriptive and verification methods. Data analysis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS program as a statistical tool. The results showed that the environmental attitude directly did not have the ability to raise green purchasing behavior, but based on hypothesis testing on structural models it was found that the variables of green marketing perceptions and green purchasing willingness were able to mediate the environmental attitude in raising green purchasing behavior significantly with the strength of the model in moderate scale.

    THE INFLUENCE OF ELECTRONIC WORD OF MOUTH AND BRAND IMAGE ON BUYING DECISION

    Electronic word of mouth (e WOM) communication has turned into an important element in marketing strategy as it can influence purchase decision making. The objective of this study is to investigate the effect of electronic word of mouth on purchasing decision. The study also examines the moderating effect of brand image in the relationship between the word of mouth and purchase decision. A survey conducted to provide answers of the research questions. In this study, two hundred questionnaires were distributed using accidental sampling. The finding of this study reveals that electronic word of mouth has positive influence on purchase decision. The study also found that brand image has moderating influence in the relationship between electronic word of mouth and purchase decision.

    PERBANDINGAN SMT, JIT, DAN TOC DALAM LINGKUNGAN INDUSTRI SINGLE PRODUCT FLOW SHOP MENGGUNAKAN SIMAN ARENA

    Penelitian ini menguji 3 (iga) sistem manuJizldur, yaitu sistem manufaWur tradisiornl, iust in time, don theory of constraints dalam linghtngan industri single pro&tct flow shop yang mempunyai lintasan seri dimana ketiga sistem maratJizktur dipengaruhi vaiasi total inventory buffer dan woktu proses yqng berbeda seiuai dengan filosofi dai masing-masing sistem. Adapun tuiuannya untuk menguhtr dan menganalisa performansi, melihat ada/tidahya pengaruh sistem manufaktur, variasi total ilwentory buffer serta interaksi ke&nnya terhadop performansi flowtime dan throughput. Penulis menggunakan Simulation Mandacturing AKENA untuk menguji sistem nyata keadaan linghtngan industri yang dicobakan ke dalam rnodel tintan simulosi komputer. Di akhir penelitian ini terbukti bahwa ienis sistem manufaktur, variasi total inventory buffer, dan interaksi keduanyo terrryata mempengaruhi besarnya performansi nilai rata-rata flowtime dan throughput yang dihasilkon dari masing-masing sistem yang -diiobqlen. Simpulan terakhir adatah fitosofi SMT tidaklah memberikan keuntungan yang lebih jika dibandingkan irc dan TOC. Setanjutnyo TOC mempunyai performansi di atas SMT dan JIT pada performinsi rata-rata trougltput, walaupun kadang-kadang TOC mempunyai rata-rata flowtime yang teiih tinggi dari SMT dan JIT, yang mana hal ini sebenarnya meniadi atribut bahwa TOC membutuhkan lebih sedikit inventory dibandingkan dengan sistem mamibktur lainnya

    SOFT INNOVATION AS AN EMPIRICAL ANSWER TO THE GAP OF "RBV" THEORY

    This study aims toexplain empirically how to develop resources and capabilities that are valuable and rarely, becoming inimitable and non-substitutable so that have implications for improving long-term company performance or called sustained competitive advantage. This study uses a quantitative approach. This survey research was conducted on 50 fashion creative businesses in the city of Bandung. The research method was carried out descriptively and verification using SPSS 20 and SmartPLS3 as the analysis tools. The novelty of this research is the discovery of 2 added dimensions of Stoneman's Soft Innovation Concept, namely networking innovation dimension and local experience innovation dimension which were able to develop valuable and rarely resources/capabilities in the fashion creative business in Bandung, becoming inimitable and non-substitutable thus makingfashion creative businessas one of Indonesia's creative industries that has superior performance.
