Abstract
The mode of land transportation to Bandung via the toll road to support the increase in tourist arrivals in Bandung. Tol Cipularang is a very supportive road infrastructure to get to Bandung. Tol Cipularang (Cikampek – Purwakarta - Padalarang) is a toll road in Indonesia that connects between Jakarta and Bandung. The process of a queue occurs when a number of customers from a population source need the service of a particular service facility. The purpose of this study was to determine the performance of the queuing system at Pasteur toll exit and determine the optimal number of substations to serve toll users at Pasteur toll exit. The research method used is a description of the analysis through several quality measuring devices such as pareto, causal diagrams, and control charts. As a result, there are several factors that cause failure in the production process, including labor (human), machine, materials, and work methods in the production process. The conclusion of this study is that the current queuing system requires a change in the number of substations so that queuing performance is more optimal than before and can fulfill the expected waiting time aspirations for each vehicle that will make toll payment transactions.
