Abstract
The purpose ofthis paper is to offer a preliminary study exploration of the corporate Social Responsibility issues being implemented by small business in Bandung. This paper begins with a discussion ofthe characteristics and origins of Corporate Social Responsibility and followed by the development ofsmall business in Indonesia.
Despite an unclear definition of Corporate Social Responsibility, small business seems to be engaged in socially responsible activities in various ways: involve in social issues, donation, human resource management practice which promote equality, diversity and respectillJ: human right. HQwever the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility in small business needs to be increased by focusing in low cost Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.
