dc.description.abstractInvestments to be undertaken by the company very important role in the improvement of company performance and therefore, in determining the company's investment policy is expected to consider whether the variables that influence it, so hopefully the purpose of holding the investment can be achieved. This study aims to determine the extent of the investment policy variables include profitability, size, growth, DER, DPR, and Ownership structure either simultaneously or partially influence the policy of investment in industrial companies incorporated in various industries during the period 2005-2009. Population there were 49 companies, and the 24 companies included in the sample, but after passing the normality test only six companies. The research method used in this research is descriptive and verification methods. The analytical method used is multiple regression analysis. The test results proved simultaneous investment policy variables affect the investment policy of 79.5%. While partially only firm size variable (size) and DPR variable that significantly, while other variables are profitability, growth, DER, ownership structure does nl)t significantly influence the investment policy.en_US
