dc.descriptionABSTRACT Inventory system is a system for managing inventory in the warehouse. Inventory system is now widely used by companies developing in general. Especially in terms of data management stuff. P.T. XYZ is a growing company that operates as a distributor of bread in Bandung in which activities are effective and good performance should be maintained and improved. Like managing, search, entry and exit flow of goods and report the data items (bread) when it's needed. Based on these problems, the company has a desire to better utilize information technology through the development of an inventory system, because the system of data management activities goods (bread) in storage at this time have not felt up by the company. This inventory system using FIFO (First In First Out) to regulate the entry and exit flow of goods (bread) to the warehouse. Software development model used in this inventory system is waterfall and UML (Unified Modeling Language) as a data flow model. PHP programming language, and database MySQL. dc.description.abstractABSTRAKSI Sistem inventori merupakan suatu sistem untuk mengelola persediaan barang di gudang. Sistem inventori kini sudah banyak digunakan oleh perusahaan-perusahaan berkembang pada umumnya, terutama dalam hal pengelolaan data barang. P.T. XYZ merupakan perusahaan berkembang yang bergerak dalam bidang distributor roti di kota Bandung dimana aktivitas kinerja yang baik dan efektif haruslah dijaga dan ditingkatkan. Seperti pengelolaan, pencarian, alur keluar masuknya barang dan laporan data barang (roti) ketika dibutuhkan perusahaan. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, perusahaan memiliki keinginan untuk memanfaatkan teknologi informasi secara baik melalui pembangunan sistem inventori, dikarenakan sistem kegiatan pengelolaan data barang (roti) di gudang saat ini belum dirasa maksimal oleh perusahaan. Sistem inventori ini menggunakan metode FIFO (First in First out) untuk mengatur alur keluar masuknya barang (roti) ke gudang. Model pengembangan perangkat lunak yang digunakan adalah waterfall dan model aliran data yang digunakan adalah UML (Unified Modeling Language). Bahasa pemrograman menggunakan PHP, dan database MySQL. Sistem dibangun dengan konsep user friendly, sehingga sistem dilengkapi dengan interface yang mudah dipahami dan dibuat semenarik mungkin. Kata kunci : Inventori, FIFO, UML, Waterfall Model.en_US
