dc.description.abstractIrfan Firmansyah (0210U099). The title of research “The Influence of Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE) and Net Profit Margin (NPM) to Stock Price in Food and Beverage Company listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange Period 2008-2012”. In the preparation of this paper is guided by Mr. H. Achmad Sanusi, S.E., M.Si. Stock price is the price which formed from the interaction of buyers and sellers shares are motivated by expectation of company profit. In capital market activity the stock price is very important factor and should be considered by investors in implementing investment, because the stock price indicates the value of a company. The higher value of stock price shows the value of company. Stock prices is determined by market forces, which means that the stock prices is determined from demand and supply forces. This research has purpose to prove the effect of Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE) and Net Profit Margin (NPM) which measured by Stock Price basis and which the most dominant variables that affect to Stock Price. The object of this research is the Food and Beverage company listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2008-2012. Determination of the sampling technique is purposive sampling with Food and Beverage company criteria listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange serving the financial statements of the period 2007-September 30th 2012. Sample obtained 9 companies. From the F test result is obtained that F value is 8.901 with a significant level between 0.000 < 0.05, which indicates that the variable Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE) and Net Profit Margin (NPM) simultaneously affect significantly to Stock Price. According to the t test result, it can conclude Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE) and Net Profit Margin (NPM) that partially have effect to Stock Price.en_US
