Technological developments triggered the emergence of startups, including in the field of information technology. In its development, only 10% of startups can survive. High startup failure is influenced by several things, such as competence, focus, innovation, finance, and marketing. Serverless technology is proposed to help the startup to be no longer preoccupied with server affairs. With serverless, startup information technology can focus more on product and customer service. Some vendors that provide serverless services are AWS Lambda from Amazon, Google Cloud from Google, and Azure from Microsoft. The application of serverless on information technology startups has the advantage of guaranteed service availability, operational costs can be reduced, and, attention to business processes is higher. The challenges that need to be managed can come from hardware, developers, management, and business.en_US
