T. XYZ is a multinational company engaged in the perfume and flavor fragrances. The problem that often occurs in this company is the work overload that occurs every day at the compounder workstation. This happens because the sample is large but the number of employees from the compounder is less and the work that requires high concentration so it requires additional time to do it. This has an impact on the inhibition of the trial process to fulfill orders both from sales, PPIC, and from affiliates of PT. XYZ. This study aims to analyze the workload of the Compounder in the R&D division of PT. XYZ. Measurement of workload is a technique to obtain information about the efficiency and effectiveness of work for a company. The method used in this research is the Defense Research Agency Workload Scale (DRAWS) method. The result of this research is the workload in the Cibitung plant has an average score of 57.38% which is included in the optimal category, while the result of the calculation of the average workload score at the Cikarang plant is 65.11% which is included in the overload category. Then the workload variable that dominates the physical and mental workload is Time Pressure, where this variable has a value of 30% at the Cibitung plant and 34.44% at the Cikarang plant. The recommendation of this study is to set a standard working time, and to increase the number of people at the compounder work station at the overloaded plant, so that the average workload score at the Cikarang and Cibitung plants is 62.36% and 59.79%.en_US
