- ItemANALISIS PERILAKU HERDING SEBELUM DAN SELAMA PANDEMI COVID-19 PADA INDUSTRI PERTAMBANGAN YANG TERDAFTAR DI PASAR MODAL INDONESIA PERIODE 2015-2022(Program Studi S1 Manajemen Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Widyatama, 2023) Sari, PuspitaFenomena perilaku herding di pasar saham menjadi pembahasan menarik semenjak terjadinya berbagai krisis yang melanda dunia dan menyebabkan harga saham berfluktuasi secara tidak wajar sehingga meningkatkan ketidakstabilan pasar. Industri pertambangan merupakan salah satu industri yang diminati oleh investor karena menawarkan potensi keuntungan yang menarik dilihat dari harga saham yang ada, sehingga hal ini mendorong investor terutama investor jangka pendek untuk membeli saham dalam jumlah besar guna mendapatkan keuntungan yang instan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perilaku herding dan keterkaitannya dengan harga minyak sebagai faktor pendorong pada perusahaan dalam industri pertambangan yang tercatat di pasar modal Indonesia periode 2015-2022, pada kondisi sebelum COVID- 19 dan saat kondisi COVID-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder dengan sampel sebanyak 35 perusahaan industri pertambangan yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Agar mencapai tujuan penelitian metode yang digunakan adalah Cross Sectional Absolute Deviation (CSAD). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada kondisi full period tahun 2015-2022, sebelum periode COVID-19 dan saat periode COVID-19 tidak terdapat indikasi perilaku herding, sedangkan harga minyak (oil price) terindikasi menjadi faktor pendorong terjadinya perilaku herding pada industri pertambangan periode 2015-2022.
- ItemBIAPPOSITIVES: A NEW APPELLATION OF APPOSITIVES(International Journal of Psychosocial Rehabilitation, Vol. 24, Issue 2, 2020) Gunawan, Hero; Simatupang, Ervina CM.; Sari, Puspita; Siregar, Alvii T. BungaranThis article discusses biappositives as the new appellation in both restrictive and non-restrictive appositives. In every single apposition construction, an anchor does not always have one appositive. This type of appositive will be viewed from syntactic perspective. From this perspective, this article will uncover that 1) one anchor, in a construction of apposition, may have two appositives, and each appositive have its own name, depending on the relatedness to the anchor, i.e. external biappositive, internal-external biappositive, external-relational biappositive, and external-integral biappositive; 2) the sequential patterns of apposition consrruction. Therefore, this research serves two aims: 1) to explain and indicate that an anchor may have two appositives with different names, and 2) to analyse the sequential patterns of apposition consrructions. The data sources are taken from three English printed media: 1) daily news The JaACrta Post, 2) weekly magazine TIME, and 3) monthly magazine Reader’s Digest. The data taken from such sources are descriptive in nature, and will be analysed through employing the method of qualitative research. To analyse such descriptive data, the distributional method of analysis with the use of the following techniques: deleting, extracting, and intruding. The results indicate that: 1) biappositive is a new appellation of appositive in a construction of apposition with the following subcategoties: external appositive, internal-external appositive, external-relational appositive, and external-integral appositive; 2) the sequential patterns of apposition constructions are: a) … A1, A2, A3 for external biappositive; b) … A1 A2, A3 for internal-external biappositive; c) … A1, A2, A3 and/or A1, A2, A3 … for external-relational biappositive; and d) A1, A2 A3 … for external-integral biappositive.
- ItemBLENDED LEARNING METHOD FOR TEACHING READING: The Benefit Impacts for Non-Regular English Class Program(International Journal of Psychosocial Rehabilitation, Vol.24, Issue 02, 2020) Sari, Puspita; Simatupang, Ervina CMCurrently e-learning program has been a warm conversation in the world of education so that it can be meaningful way chosen by individuals who want to study, both in regular class and non-regular class. It turns out to greatly affect the learning method used teachers in presenting the material as increasing sophistication of technology. One of the methods used is a blended learning method. This research aims at investigating the benefits of using blended learning in teaching reading class for non-regular English students of the second semester. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis one. In this research students are facilitated by using blended learning method which is essentially a combination of learning excellence that is done face- to- face and virtually. Students should follow 16-week learning process to study Reading for Basic Strategies subject consisting of some activities as follows (1) downloading material every week, (2) taking part in forum discussion virtually (3) completing quiz and assignment, (4) doing mid test and final test, and (5) joining face to face meeting.

Some of the non-business students are strongly motivated to take a part in business world by selling product, outlining a proposal, or attempting to enlist support for a project. In today’s business world, it is extremely important to effectively communicate our ideas. Presentation, as a form of communication, plays a more and more important role in modern business setting. But not all the presentations are effectively made for a variety of reasons. This paper is the result of the writer’s experience assisting non-business students to prepare presentation related to business in English for Business Communication class. Still, in many cases students have the same limited exposure, resulting in the same lackluster result. The major purpose of the entire effort is to make the presentations as easy to comprehend as absolutely possible. Therefore, this paper aims to explore effective presentation skills and techniques. In order to minimize the negative and maximize the positive, a presenter should consider three areas called three P’s: Preparation, Practice and Presentation. By following the steps the writer has mentioned, the results have been very satisfactory for them. They did the presentation very well. They were able to discuss and defend their points of view and answer questions from the audience. - ItemMEMAHAMI KONSEP SUBJEK DALAM KLAUSA DEKLARATIF BAHASA INGGRIS DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN PENDEKATAN FUNGSIONAL(Universitas Widyatama, 2012-05-09) Sari, PuspitaPenelitian ini merupakan preliminary project yang mendiskusikan tentang konsep subjek dalam klausa deklaratif Bahasa Inggris dengan menggunakan pendekatan fungsional. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengukur sejauh mana mahasiswa Bahasa Inggris Universitas Widyatama Semester IV dapat memahami tiga konsep subjek dalam klausa deklaratif Bahasa Inggris, yaitu:Subjek Gramatikal (Grammatical Subject), Subjek Logis (Logical Subject) dan Subjek Psikologis (Pschycological Subject ) berdasarkan teori Halliday. Selain itu penulis ingin mengetahui kendala apa saja yang dihadapi mahasiswa dalam memahami konsep subjek tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif yang pengambilan datanya dilakukan dengan cara menjelaskan tiga konsep subjek menurut Halliday dan diujicobakan dengan mengerjakan tes kepada mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkkan bahwa 42,8% dinyatakan memahami dengan baik, 38% mahasiswa cukup memahami dan 19,2% mahasiswa kurang memahami konsep subjek ini. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba tes yang telah diberikan ternyata mahasiswa mengalami beberapa kendala, seperti kurangnya memahami konsep yang dimaksud secara mendalam karena waktu yang pendek (3 pertemuan)dan mereka masih terpengaruh dengan konsep subjek berdasarkan traditional grammar, selain itu adanya kesalahpahaman dalam memahami makna subjek logis dan subjek psikologis.

Maka dari itu, mata kuliah menulis (writing) telah diberikan kepada mahasiswa sejak awal semester.Namun, seringkali ditemukan kesalahan-kesalahan gramatika yang muncul pada esai karya mahasiswa, misalnya kesalahan-kesalahan berbentuk omission, addition, misformation, dan misordering seperti dalarn teori Dulay et. a1 (1981). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan kesalahan-kesalahan umum gramatika yang dilakukan mahasiswa Semester I11 Program Studi Bahasa Inggris dalam menulis esai Bahasa Inggris, serta membehkan solusi untuk menghindarinya sehingga menghasilkan esai yang berterima. Tahapan yang dilakukan adalah mengurnpulkan data esai mah'?siswa, menernukan bentuk kesalahannya, menganalisis, dan mencarikan solusi sehingga kesalahankesalahan tersebut dapat dihindari dan tidak terulang. Dan penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan 'bahwa kategori misformation yang merupakan . kesalahan bentukpaling mendominasi, diikutioleh omission dan addition. Adapun kesalahan yang memiliki prosentase terendah adalah misordering.

Citizenship education is common subjects are the rights for all students to get and is the school's obligation to load the Civic Education curriculum. The statement in accordance with the mandate of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia that citizenship education stipulated in Law No. 2 of 1989 on the national education system, section 39 has determined that the content of the curriculum of every kind, lines and levels of education must include Pancasila education, religious education and civic education. The progress of a nation depends heavily on the quality of education, not only the quality of education that makes a nation forward. There are other things that factor into supporting a nation can move forward, namely the quality of the personality and character of the nation itself, namely civic disposition. The research was done in high school. The purpose of this study mendeskripsikan Civics learning how to improve students' civic disposition. The research method used is a qualitative method of data collection techniques, observation, interviews and documentation.
- ItemUNDERSTANDING TYPES OF THEME IN VARIOUS BUSINESS READING TEXT EXERCISES USING FUNCTIONAL APPROACH(The 2nd UAD TEFL International Conference, University of Ahmad Dahlan Yogyakarta, Indonesia, 2012-10-13) Sari, PuspitaAn important point to understand a text is knowing what information or message that the writer wants to convey to the reader. In additions, it is very important to know the point of the departure of the message called as Theme appearing in the beginning of the clause. This research isaimed to measure the understanding of the English Students of 4th semester consisting of 23 students as respondents in classifying and identifying types of Theme in various business reading text exercises using functional approach proposed first by Halliday. The theory claims that the theme can be divided into some categories: ideational, textual and interpersonal. Then, the writer would like to know what types of Theme tend to appear in business reading text materials. The method used in this research is quasi-experimental studies. There are three phases applied in this research. first, the students were given and explained theories about types of theme; second, they were given some exercises; and the Inst, they were evaluated by doing a test. Three classifications were resulted . They consist of understanding (if the test score is more or with 80 point), enough (if the test score is 60-79 point), and Less Understanding (if the test score is less than 60 point).The result shows that 60% students are classified Understanding, 35% students are classified Enough and 15% students are classified Less Understanding. Ideationalthemetends to appear more dominant than two other Themes in the business reading text exercises because those te.xts-use many deClarative clauses in conveying the information to the readers.
