- ItemIMPLEMENTATION OF ACTIVE LEARNING STRATEGY FOR IMPROVING ACTIVITIES AND RESULTS STUDY OF REVIEW OF COMMUNICATION VISUAL DESIGN SUBJECT (Case Studies of Student at Graphic Design Program, Widyatama University)(Conference On Professional Development In Education (PDE2014), Widyatama University Indonesia, Open University Indonesia and Open University Malaysia, 2014-06-11) Pertiwi, Annisa BelaThe backgrounds of this research are there a low activity and poor result study of review of communication visual design subject. The purposes of this research are to improve the activity and result study of student at Graphic Design Program using Active Learning Strategies. Active Learning Strategy is a strategy which is to encouraging students how to use the brain, creating and discussing the ideas, solving problems, and implementing the action. The research method used is qualitative research which collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research data analysis using qualitative descriptive analysis, which is Data were analyzed not by numbers but words form and sentences or paragraphs are stated in descriptive form.
- ItemKECERDASAN SPASIAL SEBAGAI PENUNJANG PENGEMBANGAN KREATIVITAS MAHASISWA DESAIN GRAFIS DALAM PEMBELAJARAN NIRMANA(Jurnal Dimensi, Fakultas Seni Rupa dan Desain, Universitas Trisakti, 2015-02) Pertiwi, Annisa BelaNirmana plays an important role on how to organize and prepare the basic elements of a design. By studying Nirmana, students are expected to have an understanding, skills, and sensitivity regarding the governance of design elements in forming a harmonious and balanced composition. Sensitivity to governance of design elements is closely related to spatial intelligence, the ability to visualize ideas with regard to space and place. Spatial intelligence is an intelligence possessed by most graphic design student. Spatial intelligence need to be sharpened by the students so that they can understand the meaning and essence of Nirmana (Visual Literacy) subject, so the learning objectives can be achieved. To sharpen students ' spatial intelligence, the spatial intelligence teaching strategy is needed. This paper describes the spatial intelligence teaching strategy which can be applied to Nirmana (Visual Literacy) subject. The study in this paper uses a qualitative approach, aimed to explore the role of spatial intelligence teaching strategy to the process of development of creativity of students in learning the Nirmana (Visual Literacy). The analysis process is done through the collection of data that is measurable.
- ItemPIXEL VALUE DIFFERENCING AND MODULUS FUNCTION METHOD FOR EMBEDDED MESSAGE IN DIGITAL IMAGES(International Journal of Psychosocial Rehabilitation, Vol. 24, Issue 1, 2020) Zonyfar, Candra; Baihaqi, Kiki Ahmad; Pertiwi, Annisa BelaImage steganography is technique hiding messages into digital images so that secret message unvisually. This research discusses of steganography apply by modulus function algorithm and pixel value differencing (PVD) algorithm. We carried out public datasets image 256x256 and 512x512 constituent. Messages could be embedded in the form of text characters of a certain length. Modulus function and pixel value differencing algorithm manages to hide the message so that no change is seen between the cover object and the cross-sectional image. This research was proven to be successful in the process of recovering secret messages. Evaluation were made using peak signal to noise ratio, mean square error, normalized cross correlation and structural content. From the experimental results, measurement value is based on the level of similarity between cover image and stego object with modulus function method is better with an average normalized cross correlation and structural content 1.0000 and 0.999543 respectively.
- ItemVISUAL IDENTITY DESIGN OF BABAKARAN SATAY HOUSE BANDUNG, INDONESIA(Solid State Technology Volume: 63 Issue: 5, 2020) Pertiwi, Annisa Bela; Akbar, Farhandika; Rizaldi, Mohamad Nova; Ibrahim, Arie Herdiansyah; Nuraini, ZulfhaBabakaran Satay House is a satay house that sells a variety of satay-like dishes which are made by grilling, which is located in Bandung, Indonesia. This Babakaran Satay House has a unique logo, but when viewed visually, the logo is contrary to the company's theme, which carries the word "babakaran" which means burning while camping. To redesign the Babakaran Satay House logo, as an effort to increase brand awareness, the method used in this study is a qualitative research method. It is hoped that with a qualitative method, this research can produce descriptive data, such as interviews, field notes, pictures, etc. The process of redesigning the babakaran logo is carried out through the observation stage which includes the location of the object of research, the object's competitor, the object's philosophy, the cuisine menu, and the activities carried out by the Babakaran Satay House. In addition, interviews were also conducted with the owner as well as the graphic designer who designed the original logo of Satay house Babakaran. The logo redesign was carried out by displaying a simple, minimalist impression, and having a meaning that contains good hopes for the company. The logo visualization is designed using flexible design elements, with reference to the philosophy of the word "Babakaran" which is symbolized by the activity of a camp fire when camping while making grilled food. It can be concluded that the design of this new logo is closer to the company theme, both conceptually and visually. In addition, it is also hoped that the design of this new logo can be easier to implement in various corporate publications, so that it can help the promotion process to the community in the city of Bandung, Indonesia.
