- ItemBRAGA SMART PARKING USING NODEMCU AND WEBSITE APPLICATION(Solid State Technology Volume: 63 Issue: 4, 2020) Chaniago, Muhammad Benny; Zihni, Milzam; Nugroho, Diky Andy; Fadli, Tubagus; Maulana, MuhammadThe very rapid population growth will increase the number of vehicles, given a large number of vehicles available, especially four-wheeled cars that require a large space to park. It will cause problems, namely difficulty finding a parking location if the car driver does not know whether there is an empty parking location or not. Driver's concern about not getting a parking space when he enters the parking location is also a concern in this study. This problem can be resolved if the driver knows the condition of the parking lot to be addressed, and the driver can also order or book in advance before coming to the parking location. With the above problems, the writer has the idea to make research on Braga Smart Parking Using NodeMCU and Web Application. This application is made as an information medium with a website platform with the theme of smart city technology. Where the driver gets information on the parking quota at the designated Braga Parking Building and pre-orders the parking space, he will use. Therefore the driver can quickly determine his desire to park in that land. This information is obtained from the smart city technology approach in the form of NodeMCU and infrared sensors in processing parking quota data so that the information obtained is up to date and real-time. This Smart Parking System was developed to help drivers find out information about parking lots, minimizing driver concerns about the unavailability of parking lots and of course saving time.
- ItemDESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF SMART NONCONTACT THERMOMETER USING THE MLX90614 SENSOR AND MICROCONTROLLER-BASED FACE RECOGNITION(Solid State Technology Volume: 63 Issue: 4, 2020) Chaniago, Muhammad Benny; Farizt, Lalu Gde Muhammad; Putra, Khaerul Aliansyah; Mubarok, Imam; Mahanandi, Ridwan Ramadhan OkciThe Covid-19 pandemic is a period that must be passed by all groups without exception at this time. The significant impact of the Covid-19 pandemic has made all people pay attention to health anywhere and anytime. The transition period due to the existence of Covid-19, which is quite a concern, is checking body temperature when entering a place or building that contains a lot of mass such as shopping centres, offices, and so on. It is an obligation that cannot be avoided for the sake of safety and health for everyone. The examination of body temperature, in general, is through a thermometer close to the forehead. A few seconds later, the temperature measurement results will be seen through the display on the thermometer. Examinations like this are carried out alternately for each person so that there is a risk of mass accumulation in that place if the mass is in a sufficiently large state. Therefore, this research will provide a solution to reduce mass during body temperature checks by building a Smart Non-Contact Thermometer using the MLX90614 temperature sensor and face recognition technology assisted by a NodeMCU microcontroller. MLX90614 is a temperature sensor that can measure temperature remotely without making direct contact with the object to be measured. This sensor determines the temperature of an item by knowing the thermal radiation emitted by the object. Meanwhile, face recognition is a facial recognition technology that works by detecting human faces and scanning them in 2D or 3D. The microcontroller that helps integrate all components is the NodeMCU, which works as a data receiver from the MLX90614 sensor. The face recognition camera will then generate information in the form of a warning if someone has an above-average body temperature.
