- ItemTHE EFFECTS OF EXPLICIT KNOWLEDGE TOWARD PERSONAL BRANDING IN PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION IN INDONESIA(Journal of Advanced Research in Dynamical & Control Systems, Vol. 11, 03-Special Issue, 2019) Buana, Dwinto Martri Aji; Saudi, Mohd Haizam Mohd; Sinaga, ObsatarExplicit knowledge on general election in Indonesia is crucial in determining the formation of personal brand of presidential candidates participating in the mind of voters. Testing of the effect of explicit knowledge of personal brand is important in the socialization and campaign that is more effective, significant, and substantive in the future. This article presented survey result conducted to voters in Bandung City in the presidential election of 2014. Data was obtained by distributing questionnaires and 160 respondents were voters who participated in this study through multistage area sampling method. Distribution were conducted both face to face by giving direction on how to answer the questionnaire items proposed, and online by sending online questionnaire link designed in Google Docs. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used to analyze and test the hypotheses of this study using AMOS 19 software. The study result showed that there was a significant explicit knowledge of personal brand. Managerial suggestion and implication were also discussed in the final part of this study. The result of this study is hoped to be able to help explaining the effect of explicit knowledge to personal brand of election candidates that enables to be used and developed in the future general election.

Keduanya bahkan telah melebur dalam suatu disiplin baru yang disebut political marketing. Konsep merek personal menjadi salah satu bahasan yang termasuk di dalam disiplin ini menjadi bahasan yang masih jarang diteliti lebih lanjut relevansinya dalam konteks politik. Tujuan dari peneltian ini adalah mengembangkan suatu skala pengukuran merek personal yang masih sangat jarang dilakuhn hingga saat ini. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengembangkan konsep yang dikemukakan oleh Hughes (2007) dm Rampersad (20 1 1) untuk menyusun skala merek personal yang kem+ian secara empiris diuji dengan menggunakan pendekatan confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). Sebanyak 160 kuesioner disebarkan kepada responden yang merupakan pemilih p e d u di Kota Bandung. Saran dan implikasi manajerial juga dibahas pada bagian akhir penelitian ini.

The methodology used in this paper is to review various previous literature related to the topics discussed. The literatures used are papers from various journals that are obtained from search engines using certain keywords related to the terms used to indicate the topic of discussion. Literature review and research on work-life balance on students as objects are still very rare, especially in Indonesia, which has a unique education system compared to other countries. It was found that in a pandemic situation such as the one currently ongoing, the work-life balance for students needs to be given more attention in order to design higher education policies that are more relevant to the development of the situation and condition of students. conducted a literature review of work-life balance in the context of higher education in Indonesia. This paper conducts a specific literature review on the topic of work-life balance in higher education with case studies on the implementation of education in Indonesia and also proposes several future agendas for future researchers, especially in the context of education.
