- ItemANALYSIS OF BASIC SOIL SUPPORT BASED ON FIELD CBR AND CBR LABORATORY FOR ROAD REHABILITATION LINGKAR KARAWANG, WEST JAVA(Solid State Technology Volume: 63 Issue: 3, 2020) Setiawan, Asep; Akbar, Sandy Radhitya; Agustian, YanyanBearing capacity and density level are factors that affect the stability of the subgrade, therefore it is necessary to test the bearing capacity and soil density to be used as subgrade whether it meets the required conditions. This needs to be done to avoid the instability of the pavement layer which can disturb comfort and even endanger road users and the surrounding community. pavement. The method used was to determine the bearing capacity of the subgrade based on the CBR of the field with the DCP tool and to know the carrying capacity of the subgrade stability based on the CBR of the submerged laboratory. From the research results, it was found that the soil in the optimum moisture content condition, the more compacted it will increase the CBR (carrying capacity). In the CBR test in the field using the DCP tool, it was found that the CBR segment was 8.16%. While the subgrade bearing capacity obtained based on the correlation graph between the subgrade bearing capacity and CBR is 5.7 cm2. So the type of soil in this test MH (clay silt / high plasticity silt) is classified in the classification of good soil / very good soil.
- ItemANALYSIS OF FLOOD DISCHARGE IN WATERSHEDS AND THEIR HANDLING (Case Study: Cibeureum River, Bandung City, West Java)(International Journal of Psychosocial Rehabilitation, Vol.24, Issue 02, 2020) Setiawan, Asep; Agustian, Yanyan; Widyanto, Bambang EkoTo overcome the overflow of water from the Cibeureum river in Bandung, a detailed plan is needed regarding the hydrological aspects, the environment and the ideal capacity of the river's cross section so that an ideal and applicative and appropriate handling of the flood problem can be planned. This research was conducted to evaluate the flood discharge of the Cibeureum river and to plan river handling that is efficient, effective and appropriate and able to deal with the problems of flooding caused by overflowing river water. From the results of the study it was concluded that the Flood Discharge Plan with the Period of Return Q25 obtained a Flood Discharge of 61.62 ݉3 / sec by using the Snyder method. From the analysis of the existing river capacity compared with the flood discharge plan Q25 it is known that there is overtopping at several Cibeureum river stations / segments with a maximum height of 2 meters above the river embankment. Normalization and Restoration of River needs to be done or returning to its original condition and function refers to PP 38/2011 concerning Rivers, especially in locations that have overtopping, among others, making new embankments, adding height of existing embankments and river normalization (sediment dredging).
- ItemTHE BEHAVIOUR OF FROZEN SCORIA IN UNCONFINED COMPRESSION TEST(Horizon Research Publishing, 2019) Agustian, YanyanThe mechanical behaviour of the frozen or partially frozen soil changes significantly as soon as the ice holds the soil particles together. The strength of frozen soil can increase significantly. However, due to the temperature dependency and viscose nature of ice, the strength of frozen soils changes with time, strain rate and temperature. Water migration towards the ice lenses occurs during the freezing process depending on the characteristics of the soil, i.e. grain size and mineralogy, resulting in a significant change of the soil structure. Frost heaving may be the result, induced by the expansion of the water as it changes phase from frozen state. The aim of this study is to determine the unconfined compressive strength to calculate the unconsolidated shear strength of the frozen scoria under unconfined conditions. In unconfined compression tests, the influence of dry density ρd and water content w to the unconfined compression behaviour of frozen scoria was observed. The compressive strength of frozen scoria increases with the increase of w as well as the increase of ρd and the compressive strain of frozen scoria εf (axial strain at failure) is dependent on ρd.. Although some data scatters appear caused by the inhomogeneous of the samples, the effects of w and ρd to the stiffness of frozen scoria were observed. As well as initial Young’s modulus E0, secant modulus E50 of frozen scoria increases with the increasing of w and ρd.
- ItemDESIGN OF MINI PLANTS WITH SELF-WATERING FEATURES USING ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY MATERIALS(International Journal of Psychosocial Rehabilitation, Vol. 24, Issue 1, 2020) Mustaqim, Karna; Rabbani, Syaiful Azzam; Surya, Geggy Gamal; Agustian, YanyanThe urban community's concern for health continues to increase and can be proven by the 10-15% growth of health insurance, the birth of the Indonesian Gardening community and other healthy lifestyle communities. Water pollution is a major factor causing health problems, because indoor air pollution is 2-5 times (Vidyautami, et al., 2015) worse than outdoors and humans spend 90% of their activities indoors. NASA scientists in the 80s conducted a study of the role of plants in the room to eliminate organic chemicals in the water by simply placing air purifier plants in a room with a height of 20 cm making a very large reduction for water pollution. But it is not easy to care for these ornamental plants when they are placed in a room. Obstacles to moving ornamental plants from the yard into the room include, in addition to adjusting the types of plants, a pot that can be adjusted to the conditions of the room is also needed. In this design the author aims to be able to make a pot that can adjust to the busyness of the urban community that can facilitate the process of plant maintenance every day.
- ItemEFFECT OF WORK SAFETY AND HEALTH KNOWLEDGE ON CONSTRUCTION WORKERS IN CAWANG-TOMANG CENGKARENG TOLL ROAD PROJECTS(Horizon Research Publishing, 2019) Setiawan, Asep; Akbar, Sandy Radhitya; Istambul, Muhammad Rozahi; Agustian, Yanyan; Saudi, Mohd Haizam Bin MohdSafety at the location of road works is an important part that is often overlooked in the construction and maintenance of roads. Management of the safety of the road work location is the responsibility of the road manager. In general, knowledge about Occupational Health and Safety (OSH) is very broad, but there are several OHS components that are considered important to be used as a benchmark for understanding OSH. These components are K3 Definition and Initiation, K3 Management System (SMK3), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), K3 Facilities and Infrastructure, OHS Risk. Research on the influence of occupational safety and health knowledge on occupational health on construction worker behavior was carried out to determine the effect of K3 knowledge variables together on the behavior of construction workers. And to know the effect of K3 knowledge variables partially on the behavior of construction workers. From the results of the study it can be concluded that there is a relationship or a low level of correlation between K3 Knowledge and Workers' Behavior while the value of the Determination Coefficient (adjusted r square) is 0.033 which means only 3.3% of K3 Knowledge aspects that affect Construction Worker Behavior and the remaining 96.7% is influenced by other variables. Based on the results of the T-test calculation using the method of calculation of Multiple Linear Regression the value of t count
- ItemESTIMATION AND CONTROLLING OF EXCAVATION WALL DEFORMATION USING ELASTO-PLASTIC CALCULATION WITH NONLINEAR GROUND CONSIDERATIONS(International Journal of Psychosocial Rehabilitation, Vol. 24, Issue 2, 2020) Agustian, Yanyan; Setiawan, Asep; AshSiddiq, Raden Herdian BayuIn the excavation work, the calculation of lateral pressure is very important, because it concerns the safety and smoothness of construction work. In fact, in the field the calculation of the movement of the retaining wall is very complex. This is because the soil has mechanical properties that are not linear, so it requires calculation in other ways, which also takes into account the nonlinearity of the soil and the spring properties of the soil and retaining wall itself. In the case study of this paper outlines the calculation of the nature of the soil and the retaining wall in order to estimate and evaluate the movement of the retaining wall during excavation work. The results of calculations show there is a good correlation between the results of calculations and the results of monitoring the movement in the field. So that this method can be used for similar calculations in excavation works.

- ItemLAND SUBSIDENCE OF KANTO PLAIN DETECTION USING JERS-1 SAR INTERFEROMETRY(Horizon Research Publishing, 2019) Agustian, Yanyan; Hasan, Fuad; Siddiq, Raden Herdian Bayu AshSince InSAR technique has a capability to detect a small surface elevation changes over large area, InSAR system has been used widely for good resolution mapping and other applications on various applied sciences. InSAR imagery is applied to investigate surface change and result detailed maps of contour, which help to detect disaster areas. This research is aimed to estimate the land subsidence using the differential interferometric synthetic aperture radar (InSAR). The research object is located in the west part of Japan, Kanto Plain area, where ground water actively is being extracted in quite large scale and produces centimeters of subsidence every year. Over the analyzed area, the surface deformation was detected and it was only related to subsidence process. In other words, there is no surface arising or uplift of surface. It signed by color phase changes correspond from zero to minus values.
- ItemLATERAL DEFORMATION ESTIMATION ON DEEP EXCAVATION BY USING ELASTO-PLASTIC CALCULATION(Solid State Technology Volume: 63 Issue: 3, 2020) Agustian, Yanyan; Setiawan, Asep; AshSiddiq, Raden Herdian BayuFor safety and smoothness of excavation work, especially deep excavation, it is necessary to calculate the horizontal displacement of the soil wall so that its movement can be controlled. This must be done continuously during the excavation process until the backfilling process is complete. However, the calculation of ground motion due to the lateral forces of the soil is very complex. This is due to the nonlinear nature of the soil, by means that the calculation must consider the nonlinearity of the soil and also consider the properties of the soil spring and the retaining wall itself. One computational approach has been undertaken in this case study which describes the calculation of soil properties and retaining walls to estimate and evaluate the movement of the retaining walls during excavation works. The results of the calculations show a good correlation between the results of the calculations and the results of monitoring the movements in the field. So that this method can be used for similar calculations in excavation work.

- ItemSLOPE DEFORMATION OF ROAD SHOULDER AND RETAINING WALL EVALUATION AT RANCACILI-RANCASARI ROAD, WEST JAWA(International Journal of Psychosocial Rehabilitation, 2020) Prattama, Febbry; Kamaludin, Rifan; Febriyanto, Feri; Adam, Jamalludin; Agustian, YanyanDamage that is often found on the road is the collapse of the shoulder of the road even worse is the slope of the shoulder and this can be caused by the bearing capacity of the road that is not sufficient to withstand the live load that passes through the road and this is compounded by the absence of retaining walls on the slope. The Rancacili-Rancasari road section is a national alternative road that many vehicles pass by. In some places on the road, cracks occur and land subsidence occurs which can cause landslides on the shoulder of the road. The objective of this study is to evaluate the use of retaining walls to overcome landslides on the shoulder of the road. Taking into account the properties of the soil and the properties of the soil in the area, as an input parameter calculation, an appropriate and safe desgn is determined for the retaining wall type of self-weight retaining wall. By using the basic theory of earth pressure coloumb's theory, a lateral pressure calculation is performed that works on the wall and combined with the trial wedge of lateral pressure theory, then calculates the total load received by the wall to find the safety factor of the wall relationship with resistance to rotation, sliding and its bearing capacity.
