    ANALYSIS OF BANKRUPTCY PREDICTION USING AL-MAN Z-SCORE AND SPRINGATE METHOD IN PT GARUDA INDONESIA TBK PERIOD 2015- 2019

    This study analyzes the condition of airlines in Indonesia. There are 15 airlines in Indonesia. However, only 3 companies have been listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study chose PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk to be the source of research using financial statement data from 2015 to 2019. There are several methods commonly used to analyze bankruptcy, the Altman Z-Score and Springate methods used in this study. The Altman Z-Score method states that PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk is in a gray area condition with an average Z value of 1,686 while the Springate method states that PT Garuda Indonesia is not bankrupt (healthy) with an average value of S 1,271.

    ANALYSIS PREDICTION BANKRUPTCY BUSINESS BY USING THE METHOD ALTMAN Z-SCORE AND METHODS SPRINGATE (STUDY IN PT HOLCIM INDONESIA TBK.)

    Bankruptcy is a condition where a company has financial difficulties that make business failures and harm many parties. Bankruptcy itself becomes a threat to companies that do not realize early on the existence of business bankruptcy. Therefore, it is necessary to predict bankruptcy early on. There are several ways to predict bankruptcy by analyzing financial ratios with Altman Z-Score and Springate Methods. This study aims to determine the company's financial performance by using the ratio of financial analysis and prediction analysis of bankruptcy method Altman Z-Score and Springate Method. This study uses secondary data obtained from the financial statements of PT Holcim Indonesia Tbk period 2010 to 2014. To know the financial performance of the company there are 5 ratios used consisting of liquidity, solvency, activity, profitability and market ratios. Then to predict bankruptcy by the Altman Z-score method and the Springate method. Altman Z-Score method consists of Working Capital to Total Assets, Retained Earning to Total Assets, Earning Before Interest and Tax to Total Assets, Market Value of Equity to Book Value of Debt, Sales to Total Aseets. Springate method consist of 4 ratio namely Working Capital to Total Assets, Earning Before Interest and Tax to Total Assets, Earning Before Tax to Current Liabilities, Sales to Total Aseets. The results showed the company's financial performance with ratio analysis from the period 2010 to 2014 showed the company in good condition because there is no negative result even though every year the results fluctuate. The results of bankruptcy analysis by the method of Altman Z-Score in the period 2010 to 2013 are categorized not bankrupt and in 2014 categorized the company is in the area of gray or hesitant. The results of bankruptcy analysis by Springate method in the period 2010 to 2012 companies are categorized not bankrupt and in the period 2013 to 2014 companies are categorized bankrupt.

    THE CORRELATION BETWEEN STUDENTS’ VOCABULARY MASTERY AND READING COMPREHENSION ACHIEVEMENT (AT UNIVERSITY OF BUANA PERJUANGAN KARAWANG)

    The objective of English teaching at University is the ability to read English. But in the reality, so many students are not able to write. Commonly they only have capability in listening, speaking and speaking. We can find this problem in almost all English classes. Reading, although it is a complicated skill, is definitely a skill that the language teacher must teach to their students. Reading is very important since it is a process of building and sharing meaning through the usage of verbal and non-verbal symbols Moreover, teaching reading should improve students’ communicative skills and learn how to use the language However, reading in English is still a problem for most Indonesian students although they have studied English from the elementary school. Only a few of them have good ability in reading. Based on the output of the research in realization about students’ vocabulary mastery is taken from multiple choice tests. This text has 30 items the pupils are given test at last lesson. After doing the span calculation, standard deviation so the result are: the best score is 27 and the worst score is 16. The mark of students by researcher is grouped to be classes, the length of the class is 2 and the first interval class is 16-17, so it could be made frequency distribution about students’ vocabulary mastery which is made sample in research. There is significant positive correlation between variable of students’ vocabulary mastery (X) with variable of students’ reading comprehension (Y). it is shown by r – count is the bigger than r – table on significant degree 0,05 and N as many as 30 (0,577 > 0,361).

    THE INFLUENCE OF MANAGERIAL COMPETENCIES, BUSINESS PARTNERSHIPS AND ENTREPRENEURIAL SPIRIT ON FUND MANAGEMENT AND THEIR IMPLICATIONS TOWARDS FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE (SURVEY OF BUMDES IN WEST JAVA)

    This research emphasizes more on the field of management science, especially financial management. His study was directed at the analysis of managerial competencies, business partnerships and entrepreneurial spirit which had an impact on fund management and its implementation on the financial performance of BUMDes in West Java which were certified in the Ministry of Village, Development of Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration. Research is limited to company managers or management with the classification of BUMDes. The BUMDes studied were in regency areas in West Java, the determination of the location of the study was based on the establishment of West Java as a pilot area of the Joint Village Owned Enterprise (BUMDesa) and Desa'Smart by the Ministry of Village, Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration (Ministry of PDTT) on the 29th August 2016. The results of the descriptive study show the Entrepreneurship Soul (X3) is lower than the other independent variables. While the average score for the Management Capability variable (Y) is higher than the other variables. And the Financial Performance variable (Z) is lower than the other variables. While the results of path analysis show Managerial Competence (X1) gives the most dominant contribution of 34.26%, the second largest influence is the Business Partnership Variable (X2) with a total influence of 33.08%. and Entrepreneurship Soul Variable (X3) made the weakest contribution of 7.68%. Calculation results The coefficient of determination (R squared) expressed in percentages illustrates the contribution of all independent variables by 75.01%. While other factors that are not examined and influence Management Capability are indicated by PyЄ1 = 0.250 or 25%. While the total management influence on financial performance is 84.4% and other factors that are not examined and influence financial performance are shown by PyЄ2 = 0.156
