Speed and accuracy of business data processing to the demands of society to face of the ASEAN economic community. This sndy revealed that the effect of the adoption of information technolog) toward performance of Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) shou*ed a large role to increase competitiyeness and value added of the SMEs. Elfect of adoption of inforntation technology on the perforntance of SMEs in this study was 17%. It looks still relatively less, due to the lack of socialization on the intplementation of information technology to improve the competitiveness and value-added SMEs. The correlation between the adoption of information technologt with the ease of use of technology has positive influence on the performance of SMEs. The role of human resource competencies are able to apply inforntation technology is needed to support implementotion. The correlation bety.,een the adoption of information technologlt to intensity of the benefits give a positive effect on the perfornrance of SMEs by 47%. Information technology contributes significant bene/its in accordance with the type of SMEs and their ability to implement information technologt. While the correlation with the information technology acloption barriers focing, communication with business partners and customers in and the opportunities thet exist are considered not significant effect on the pedormance of SMEs.
- ItemAPPLICABILITY OF ALTMAN MODEL IN PREDICTING FINANCIAL DISTRESS: Evidence from Rural Bank in Indonesia(Solid State Technology Volume: 63 Issue: 3, 2020) Puspitasari, Devy Mawarnie; Roespinoedji, Djoko; Napitupulu, SotardugaThis study aims to know the applicability of Altman Model in predicting financial distress evidence rural bank in East Java, Indonesia. The method used in this study uses logit. The data used are secondary data obtained from Bank publication reports during period 2009 - 2018. The population used in this study is rural banks in East Java and sample selection based on purposive sampling. The results showed that capital, liquidity, profitability and productivity have significant influence to financial distress bank. This finding is consistent with finding’s Altman (2000) in commercial bank. Rural banks also need to pay attention to solvency so banks can carry out their intermediary role. Channeling credit optimally and keeping liquidity far from the threshold to increase profits. Accordingly, banks will avoid financial distress. This research will be useful in knowing the applicability of Altman Model in predicting financial distress, especially rural banks from existing models based on existing parameters.

The purpose of this study is to indentifies the effect of CEO power on the firms stock pricing. The study also interested to show factors that investors rely on to take their investment decisions in the automotive and components firms listed in the Indonesian capital market. This research using secondary data gathered from the official website of Indonesia Capital Market. In the way to fulfill the research objective, this study using a panel data analysis method in which the sample was taken from 12 firms by using a purposive sampling technique. The research finding was denoted that CEO power has strong effect on the firms stock price. Our finding important for the investor as information and consideration in making invstment decisions.

The method used in this study uses logit. The data used are secondary data obtained from Bank publication reports during period 2014 - 2018. The population used in this study is rural banks in Indonesia and sample selection based on purposive sampling evidence East Java. The results showed that capital, profitability and productivity have significant influence to financial distress bank. Rural banks should maintain adequate capital, increase profits and maintain credit growth in order to avoid financial distress. This study is useful to determine the determinants of rural bank financial distress in Indonesia by using the logit approach, adopting the Altman variable and adding the credit risk variable.

Design/methodology/approach: The method used in this study uses panel data. The data used are secondary data obtained from Bank publication reports for the period 2007 - 2017. The population used in this study is state-owned bank and sample selection based on purposive sampling. Findings: The results showed that the leverage measured by the DER ratio had a negative and significant effect on the financial performance (ROA) of state-owned banks in Indonesia. The effect of Loan deposit ratio, debt equity ratio and capital adequacy ratio together are still low on the financial performance of state-owned banks in Indonesia. Loan deposit ratio that does not have a real effect on financial performance, it is better if the loan distribution is adjusted to the economic conditions faced. An aggressive credit distribution strategy is not always profitable for banks, especially when in uncertain economic conditions. Originality/value: This research will be useful in mapping the determinants of state-owned banks performance in Indonesia, focusing on the process of the funding, leverage, capital.

The primary purpose of this study was to investigate food image and its relationship to satisfaction and loyalty in Bandung, Indonesia. A survey was conducted for collecting data through a questionnaire containing 21 items that was completed by 168 randomly selected respondents who visited Bandung and multiple regression analysis was used for data analysis. The results revealed that the all elements of food image marketing were directly associated with customer satisfaction and tourists’ satisfaction towards Bandung traditional food has direct effect on loyalty. Therefore it is reasonable to conclude that in order to make Bandung as a culinary tourism destination all stakeholders such as government, food providers and community should create positive food image of Bandung traditional food.

Many hand sanitizer have contents up to 60%-95% ethanol and isopropyl alcohol, but using alcohol in hand sanitizer can cause health risks effect. The leaves of basil oil (Ocimum sanctum L.) can be used as an active ingredient for hand sanitizers because it has an antibacterial activity. The aim of this work was to determine the effects of gelling agent Na-CMC on physical properties of formulation gel hand sanitizer. The concentration that used for the Na-CMC gelling agent are 3%; 3,5%; 4%. The test of physical properties includes organoleptic, homogeneity, pH, viscosity, dispersive ability, and adhesion The results of this research on the physical properties gel hand sanitizer of basil essensial oil, showed that the increasing of gelling agent consentrasion, makes the gel getting faded, more thicker, increase of viscosity, adhesion and decrease of dispersive ability. Based on the physical properties test, (F2) with 3,5% concentration of Na-CMC is the optimal formula it caused by it suitable all the parameters of the physical properties of gel.

The focus of the study is to compare the determinant factors of entrepreneurial attitudes and intentions based on the Resurreccion's (2010) study. One hundred eighteen students in their final year of study participated in the survey and the data were collected through self-administered questionnaires. The collected data were analyzed for their content, presented in the form of graphs and were given a simple statistical treatment. The results indicated that Indonesian business students are aware of the competencies and the qualities strongly associated with entrepreneurial success. Specifically, they have favorable views on entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship in terms of their impacl to society. Interesting finding showed thqt entrepreneurial intentions are not solely determined by the possession of what are believed to be entrepreneurial qualities. These are jointly in/luenced by several factors including social factors, yalues system, self-Efficacy, and perceptions.

Purpose of this study was to conduct an empirical investigation and to determine the risk for sustainable management of foreign exchange banks in Indonesia, especially default risk. Design/methodology/approach: The method used in this article is using logit model. Goodness of fit test used to examine fit model or otherwise. Likelihood, Cox & Snell R Square and Hosmer-Lemeshow test used to verify the model. Wald statistic used to examine the effect of each independent variable on the dependent variable. Findings: The findings showed that risk on foreign exchange banks in Indonesia is influenced by specific's dan macroeconomics variables that affect the performance of foreign exchange banks. Non performing loan, credit quality, capital requirement, interest rate and inflation have an effect on the occurrence of default risk in foreign exchange banks in Indonesia. Research limitation/implications: This research uses secondary data from foreign exchange banking statistics for 68 months from July 2011 to February 2017 in Indonesia. Practical implications: This study contribute policy to mitigate risk bank (default risk) that can affect performance of foreign exchange banks in the challenge of being able to compete on a regional and international scale. Originality/value: In this study independent variable divide into the specific bank's variables (internal variables) and macroeconomics. The internal variables are non performing loan, capital requirement, credit quality and bank size. Interest rate and inflation are chosen as macroeconomics variables.

- ItemMACROECONOMIC EFFECT TO STOCK RETURNS IN PROPERTY AND REAL ESTATE COMPANIES(Journal of Advanced Research in Dynamical & Control Systems, Vol. 11, 03-Special Issue, 2019) Ichsani, Sakina; Widajatun, Vincentia Wahju; Puspitasari, Devy Mawarnie; Hertina, DedeThe purpose of this study was to determine the effect of macroeconomic variables using inflation, exchange rates, BI Rate, GDP and economic growth on stock returns in the property and real estate sector listed on the IDX for the period 2013-2017. The method used purposive sampling so that the sample of this study is 27 companies. The research method in this study uses quantitative methods with analysis using regression analysis methods and data processed using eviews10. The results of the study show that there is a simultaneous influence between inflation, exchange rates, BI Rate, GDP and economic growth on stock returns. While partially, the BI rate and GDP have a significant positive effect on stock returns. Suggestion of research is for the next researcher can use the company in other industries as a comparison material and or can add research variables that influence stock returns. As for investors, if they are going to invest in property and real estate sectors, investors should pay attention to the macroeconomic conditions that affect stocks. The suggestion for the government is that the government always controls macroeconomic variables because this affects stock returns.

This study is to determine and to analyze the effects of investment benefits, investment motivation, investment education, investment returns, and investment capital on investment interests both simultaneously and partially in the Widyatama University Investment Gallery. The research method used in this study is using quantitative methods. The analysis is used by validity test, reliability test from data source which is the primary data (questionnaire) that has been shared. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling, based on the calculation; the sample in this study is 100 respondents by collecting data using questionnaire instruments. Multiple linear regression analysis is used to explain the results of this study. This study found that simultaneously the investment benefits, investment motivation, investment education, investment returns, and investment capital significantly influence investment interest. Partially investment benefits, investment motivation, investment education, and investment returns have a positive significant effect on interest investment. The investment capital variable has a negative significant effect on the investment interest.
