- ItemIDENTIFICATION OF MINIMUM STANDARDS IN EMERGENCY GOODS FOR EARTHQUAKE RELIEF IN INDONESIA(Jurnal of Disaster Research, Fuji Technology Press, Vol.11, No.3, 2016-06) Oktarina, Rienna; Bahagia, Senator Nur; Diawati, Lucia; Pribadi, Krishna S.Our purpose in this paper is to determine the minimum standards of emergency goods to be made available to persons adversely affected by earthquakes to implement quick, accountable emergency response activities. Our results show the minimum standards for emergency earthquake relief goods well-suited to Indonesia’s local population. Our results are expected to be used to help define the types of emergency goods required following a disastrous earthquake. Our research includes information about a variety of emergency goods determined through questionnaires distributed to the earthquake-affected persons once designated as internally displaced persons (IDPs). Those answering questionnaires were asked to rate the importance of goods based on their experience during postearthquake evacuation.
- ItemPENGEMBANGAN MODEL DISTRIBUSI BARANG BANTUAN PENANGGULANGAN BENCANA ALAM(JITT dan SNPSI, 2008-03-27) Oktarina, Rienna; Diawati, LuciaBasically, the aid goods distribution for natural disaster relief involves activities for delivering aid goods from relocation or supply centers of aid goods to casualty or receiver centers as the targeted locations of the distribution. In this case, the receiver centers are the places or nodes where the disaster occurred. A well-planned distribution system of aid goods is essential to support a prompt supply of aid goods for minimizing the casualties and restoring the productive activities in the disaster area. This paper discusses a research on development of distribution model og aid goods for natural disaster relief. The objectibe of the model is to minimize total unsatisfied demand gor all necessary commodities throughout the planning horizon. The model Accomodates delivery of aid goods with transportation time longer than one time period or with delivery frequency less than one. The model developed in this research also adopts maximum weight and maximum space og consignment to define load capacities of vehicles used in delivering the supplies. The model is decomposed into two sub models. Sub model 1 concerns with the allocation problem of aid goods, and sub model 2 involves the assignment problem of vehicle distributing aid goods which their compositions, amounts and designated routes (from supply centers to receiber centers) have been specified by sub model 1. The solution of the developed model is obtained using Integer Lineat Programming (ILP). In order to test the model performance this research make used of real case the earthquake disaster that happened in Yogyakarta dan Central Java at 27 May 2006.
