- ItemTHE APPLICATION OF TSLS (TWO STAGE LEAST SQUARE) IN SIMULANT EQUATION AMONG FOOD SECURITY, HUMAN DEVELOPMENT INDEX, AND POVERTY IN INDONESIA(Journal of Advanced Research in Dynamical & Control Systems, Vol. 11, 03-Special Issue, 2019) Apriliana, Tria; Wahyuningsih, Nila Dewi; SugiartiningsihAs a developing country, Indonesia faces poverty, food security, and low Human Development Index (HDI) ratings that among other countries in the world. This study aims to determine the effect of poverty and HDI on food security and the effect of food security and HDI on poverty. This research used two stage least square (TSLS) analytical tool. The results show that the poverty and HDI has a significant effect on food security. Partially, poverty has a significant effect on food security, but HDI does not affect food security. Both food security and HDI have significant effect on poverty. Partially, food security has a significant effect on poverty, but HDI has no significant effect on poverty.
- ItemTHE EFFECT OF INDONESIA ECONOMIC GROWTH AND HUMAN DEVELOPMENT INDEX ON POVERTY SEVERITY INDEX-P2(Solid State Technology Volume: 63 Issue: 4, 2020) Apriliana, Tria; Saudi, Mohd Haizam MohdFrom 1999 to 2020, the severity of poverty in Indonesia has shown a decreasing trend. This can be explained through economic growth and human development index. The researchers aimed to analyze the effect of Indonesia's economic growth index and human development on the poverty severity index-P2. The data used in this study is secondary data sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) for the period 2000 to 2019. To answer the research hypothesis, the multiple linear regression method (pool least square) was used. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, it is concluded that partially economic growth has a significant negative effect on the P2, partially HDI has a negative, but insignificant effect on the P2, and simultaneously economic growth and HDI have a significant effect on P2.

The study was conducted using 18 companies as a sample using financial reports on manufacturing sub-food and beverage consumer goods. The research method used was purposive judgment sampling using multiple linear regression. The results of the study state that profitability using return on equity affects stock returns.

The problem of poverty must be understood as a global problem so that the handling must be done in a global context as well, especially for a developing country, including Indonesia. This study aims to determine the effect of human capital, employment, and demography on poverty reduction (rural and urban areas in indonesia). This research used multiple linear regression and independent t-test analytical tools. The results show in rural areas Education has a negative and significant effect on poverty, Health has a negative but not significant effect on poverty, Gender has a negative and significant effect on poverty, and Employment has a positive but not significant effect on poverty. In urban areas, Education has a negative and significant effect on poverty, Employment has a positive but not significant effect on poverty, and Gender has a negative and significant effect on poverty. The results of comparative test show there is significant differences between urban and rural poverty levels.
- ItemENERGY CONSUMPTION AND ECONOMIC GROWTH BY INDUSTRIAL SECTOR AND HOUSEHOLD SECTOR IN INDONESIA(International Conference on Islamic Economics Management Accounting Business and Social Sciences (ICIEMABS)I, Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Padjajaran, STIE Ibnu Sina, APTISI, 2016-08-10) Apriliana, TriaThis study aimed to investigate the relationship between energy consumption and economic growth by industrial sector and household sector in Indonesia. The result of Granger Causality test and Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) showed that there are relationship between economic growth and energy consumption in industrial sector and between economic growth and energy consumption in household sector. The results also showed that the economic growth has significant effect on energy consumption in the industrial sector, and showed that economic growth has significant effect on energy consumption in the household sector, vice versa. This finding provides an important policy implications for decision-makers in reviewing the policy, particularly policy in determining the price of fuel and electricity in order to achieve the purpose of development.
