PENILAIAN STRUKTUR TIER 1 ASCE 41-17 PADA STUDI KASUS STRUKTUR KOLOM BETON BERTULANG GEDUNG KULIAH K UNIVERSITAS WIDYATAMA
(Program Studi Teknik Sipil, Universitas Widyatama, 2024) Amanda Wulansari; Yanyan Agustian (Pembimbing)
The Class K Building at Widyatama University, located at 204A Cikutra Street, Sukapada, Cibeunying Kidul Subdistrict, Bandung City, West Java, is a lecture building that was built in 2008 using the regulations in force at that time. A structural assessment with the main focus on reinforced concrete column structures was conducted to determine the current performance of the structures under the prevailing earthquake map conditions and the possibility of reinforcement to be carried out on the column structures. The structural assessment was carried out starting with the stage of visual assessment of the entire building, assessment of the Tier 1 checklist based on the provisions of ASCE 41-17, analysis of reinforcement of column structures assisted by using a numerical program, and analysis of the output obtained from the program against the performance of the existing structure and compared after reinforcement. From the results of the assessment, both visually and the results of the Tier 1 checklist assessment, columns with various conditions were found that were indicated to reduce the potential performance of the structure. Based on the output of the program analysis of the existing building that has been adjusted with the applicable seismic map, it is concluded that the existing columns of the building do need to be strengthened because the columns are in the unsafe option. After the reinforcement is carried out by enlarging the column dimensions, the performance of the column structure results in the column condition being in the safe option.
