Abstract
Financial ratios are many kinds, including that used by investors is Return On Assets
(ROA) and Earning Per Share (EPS). Investors using ROA to measure the company's
ability to use its assets to generate earnings. Basically, the income generated must be
proportional to the assets that have been used. The higher the ROA, the better the
company uses its assets. Investors use the EPS is to determine the amount of income
earned for each share. Investors interested in high EPS.
This study aims to determine the extent of the variable Return On Assets (ROA) and
Earning Per Share (EPS) either simultaneously or partially influence on stock prices at a
company incorporated in various industries industry for the period 2008-2012.
Samples that there were 42 companies with over 5-year study period but by using growth
by 4 years of research, using data cross sectional. The method used in this research is
descriptive and verification method. The analytical method used is multiple regression
analysis.
The test results simultaneously turns variable investment policy affects the investment
policy of 53%. While partially variable Return On Assets (ROA) and Earning Per Share
(EPS) significantly.
