Islamic Bank is well-known as a bank which is resistant to the global crisis that hit Indonesia couple years ago. The performance of Islamic Bank could be maintained so that continuity of business also could be well maintained. Those performance could be measured by the size of the that Islamic banking profitability. The factors that affecting the profitability of Islamic banks used in this study are the interest rate, inflation,BOPO and NPF. while the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of interest rates, inflation, CAR, BOPO, and NPF toward the profitability of Islamic banks. The population that used for the study is islamic banks whose financial statements have been published to Bank Indonesia from 2008 to 2011. The method that used in this research is Descriptive and Verification Sampling method using purposive sampling that obtain 3 Islamic banks. Data that used of this study were using secondary data from the website of each banks and Bank Indonesia. Method of data analysis is uses multiple linear regression of analysis previously performed first classical assumption. From the results of simultaneous hypothesis test (F test) shown that the Interest Rate, Inflation, NPF, and ROA has a significant effect to the profitability of Islamic banking with a significance level of 0.05 and has a strong and direct relationship. Even based on the partial results of hypothesis testing (t test) in Islamic banks, indicate that the variable interest rate,Inflation and NPF has no significant effect on the profitability of Islamic banking with a very weak relationship. And BOPO variables significantly influence the profitability of Islamic banks.
