Abstract: In this paper, we proposed a framework for quality culture implementation. It captures two dimensions of organizational culture, namely flexibility and trust. These dimensions have high relationship with quality improvement. The successful of quality improvement implementation is supported by flexibility and trust. Each of them has low and high continuum, than it will form four quadrants. The first is related to low trust and low flexibility, the second is related to high trust and low flexibility, the third is related to low trust and high flexibility, and the fourth is related to high trust and high flexibility. Quality culture implementation is considered as a process how to build quality in the context of flexibility and trust. The process of quality building will be analyzed by quality improvement programs or activities. The process will also indicate the construction of flexibility and trust. Abstract: This study initially presents the importance of education and training for quality management within small medium enterprises (SMEs) in Indonesia. Quality management in SMEs is the most relevant topic to be discussed because of its significant contribution to SMEs in developing partnership with large company. The partnership is known as subcontract. In order to make sustainable partnership with large company, SMEs should continually improve of their products and services through implementation of quality management principles. As we know, quality management is a management philoshopy which seeks continuous improvement in the quality of all processes, product, and services of an organization. Introducing quality management concept and practices require an education and training effort. There are several reason for this matter, namely: (a) to inform people of what quality management, how it can be introduced and what it can do, (b) to develop appropriate knowledges, skills, attitudes, and values relating to quality management, (c) to elaborate the tools and techniques of quality improvement, and so on. Thus, investment in education and training is a critical factor in the success of quality management implementation in SMEs. Finally, the papers will give insight into a brief framework of quality management education and training in SMEs e.g. purpose, content, approach, model, learning style, and evaluation process. Abstract: The purpose of this research was to analyze how the process of quality management implementation at Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Starting point of this research based on the paradigm that quality management implementation has been conduct both of large companies and small and medium-sized companies to improve their competitiveness and gain long-term profitability. The process of quality management implementation consist of three phases namely the introduction stage, adoption stage, and adaptation stage. Case Study is used as prime research strategy and took SMEs for Manufacturing Sector as research object. Prime method of collecting data is structured interview with director, managers, supervisor, and employees. The results indicated that in the introduction stage of quality management implementation is marked by receiving project of Education Ministry amounting two billions, large companies order for various product, mass customization as the orientation of the new production system, and SME is pointed as subcontractor of large company. Adoption stage of quality management implementation is characterized by the development of quality systems and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Meanwhile, adaptation stage of quality management implementation is marked by the implementation of developed standard operating procedures. Those result give insight that SME has carried out continuous quality improvement through quality management implementation, in order to enhance customer satisfaction. Abstract: This paper aims to review the simulationbased training (SBT) model to develop project management competencies for industrial employees. Microsoft Project was used as simulation media to support training. We suggest that SBT gives many advantages as a method for developing project management competency. Descriptivesurvey study was conducted with 100 trainees. The findings that around 61.5% project management knowledge has improved, 89% project management knowledge has improved, and 98% personal competency has improved. Abstract: This paper presents a methodological framework for developing a simulation-based training model. The model is intended to improve project management competencies of manufacturing industry employees. Research and Development approach that consists of preliminary study, model development, and model testing is used in this study. In preliminary study we explore two main subject: existing project management training model and project management competencies. In model development we construct training-based simulation conceptual model. Finally, in model testing we explore the implementation of training-based simulation model and evaluate the effectiveness of training-based simulation model using true experimental design with Pre-Test Post-Test Control Group Design.
