Abstract: Abstract— The development of “eSomething” takes place in almost all government sector, include Indonesia Government. One of electronic based system developed recently in Indonesia is e-procurement system. This condition bring much higher financial requirement and qualified Ihuman resources to build the IT infrastructure. We proposed cloud computing scheme architecture for e-procurement system in Indonesia (Jawa Barat) to reduc the IT cost for implementing the e-procurement system. The ROI analysis is carried out to select which cloud scheme is best to apply in Indonesia condition. We also propose the architecture of the new cloud based system based on the analysis conducted. The analysis result show that a significant cost reducing is achieved by implementing Infrastructure as a Service scheme cloud computing in e-procurement system at Jawa Barat Indonesia. Abstract: Abstract—The implementation of complex signal processing algorithms are required to achieve robust transmission, whereas mobile wireless application require low power dissipation. This paper describes an algorithm and a corresponding hardware architecture for the implementation of OFDMA 802.16e channel estimation. The advantage of the proposed architecture are low power and efficient resource utilization since we use iterative memory shared architecture that exploits reutilization of the processor elements and memory units. The higher data access scheme is utilized by scheduled memory sharing with common bus. Furthermore, we increase parallel efficiency by folding the architecture to reduce the number of processor elements. Abstract: High mobility communication systems need suitable channel estimation to cope high frequency selectivity channel effect. In this paper we propose data pilot based channel estimation in downlink OFDMA for IEEE 802.16e standard (Mobile WiMAX). The Mobile WiMAX channel estimation can be done by exploiting pilot from preamble, in this paper we obtain channel transfer function by exploiting pilot at symbol data with two dimensial interpolation scheme. Based on our simulation, it can be shown that the proposed method have better performance compare with preamble based channel estimation method. Afterwards we compare Linear Interpolation and MMSE interpolation for proposed channel estimation method. The Symbol Error Rate for QPSK and 64 QAM system is presented by means of simulation. Abstract: Carrier Frequency Offset Synchronization is play a very important rule in the Distributed Multi antenna system, since the system has different individual clock instead of common clock as in the centralized multi Antenna system. One of the established synchronization methode for different transmitter devices is Costas Loop. Some implementation of the synchronization for distributed multi antenna is discussed in some research works. In this paper we propose the low cost implementation of synchronization in distributed multi antenna and more simplified measurement method of synchronization in distributed multi antenna. The measurement result showed that the syncronization can compensate 0.5 kHz frequency offset experienced by the transmitters in the Distributed Multi antenna system URI: http://repository.widyatama.ac.id/xmlui/handle/123456789/6133 Files in this item: 1

Abstract: ABSTRACT With the increase of people mobility in the globalization era, learning activity is tending to be more ubiquitous. To expand the communication between the teachers and the learners further than in class activity, mobile learning has been implemented in many learning system in the world in the recent days. Nevertheless, m-learning applications have some drawbacks, mainly in term of limited storage that driven limited resources to provide in education processes. To solve the problem, cloud enabled m-learning applications are proposed. This paper presents the existing applications of cloud based mobile learning applications, explores the advantages of using cloud enabled m-learning and design a low cost and low complexity cloud based m-learning application architecture. We deploy Google Drive API in android application that allows users to access teaching learning materials in the cloud. Abstract: ABSTRACT We have developed a mobile quiz system on cell phone to assist learning anytime and anywhere. In this paper we present about the quiz system in mobile learning we developed for enhancing student learning process in Network Security lecture. We also have polled university students regarding their use of mobile devices. After the implementation of the mobile quiz system, the evaluation strategies were conducted to rate users’ satisfaction and applicatiin achievement Keywords: mobile learning, mobile quiz, J2ME application, SMS application URI: http://repository.widyatama.ac.id/xmlui/handle/123456789/2186 Files in this item: 1

Abstract: Abstract—Now, in every beginning of semester, Widyatama University Bandung students, carry on the student registration manually. This condition become complicated for many students, since a lot of them returned to their hometown during registration date. We developed mobile registration application using Java Microedition (J2ME) Platform to make registration process easier and faster. They can access it directly from their own hand set anywhere, anytime. This application consist of user interfface for input all required data for registration process and then the application enable for sending the data have been inputed via sms. Abstract: The widespread use of mobile phone enables the use of mobile devices for educational purpose. The short message service (SMS) is a popular method of communication among the younger generation. With today’s tools, instructors often encounter obstacles when trying to interact with the entire class. Instructors can get responses from only some of students and always struggle with repeating announcements or directing students where to download materials. To solve these problems, we propose the use of the short message service or SMS to support teaching learning activity which greatly enhances interactions between instructors and students and will create a much more effective education environment. The system will provide functions like instant quiz, class material distribution, announcement posting, notifying instructor through short message service (SMS). The SMS based method is chosen based on the analysis on a survey done at Informatics Department Widyatama University. From the survey we conclude that this method is suitable with the mobile learning readiness and learning trends among the students. Abstract: Large Scale (Massive) MIMO enhances the advantages of the conventional MIMO in terms of data rate, energy efficiency and reliability. To increase the scalability of conventional massive MIMO, the distributed large scale MIMO is recommended. Synchronization for distributed large scale MIMO is needed due to the lack of common clock source to synchronize the transmitters. Limited Inter-User Connected Interference Alignment for K-User is proposed for Large Scale MU-MIMO precoding scheme. Moreover, we discuss phase rotation factor estimation and compensation to synchronize the distributed large scale MIMO. The Interference Alignment algorithm with antenna selection also employed to show the effect of the synchronization in distributed large scale MIMO performance.
