Abstract
Approach to application development is now very varied and all have one goal which is to facilitate the work of the programmer. In addition to a variety of approaches, also available tools for application development (also called framework) which is popularly referred to. The use of the framework is considered to facilitate the design process and accelerate the programming process. One popular concept adopted by various frameworks, particularly in an environment of web-based applications is the concept of MVC (Model, View, Controller). In this concept, programmer makes the separation between the model (which handles the data), View (dealing with the user interface), and controller (handle transactions and data modification). This concept can be applied without use a particular framework, as long as the programmer understand the basic principle, which is how to separate the program code into three sections and prepare a programming structure that supports the concept. Case study demonstrates how to apply these concepts in a sub module accompanied by relevant script. The case study is attempt to provide example that can help programmers understand and apply the concept of MVC without relying on a particular framework and can be used in various environments programming language that supports object-oriented concepts.
