Abstract
Macroeconomic variables are factors that are outside the company, but have an influence on the increase or decrease in the performance of the company, either directly or indirectly. In this case that is an indicator of the performance of the company is the stock return. This study aims to determine the effect of the condition and Exchange Value, Inflation, Deposit Interest Rate, and Stock Trading Volume on Stock Return. The problem is formulated in this study is "What is the condition and the effect of the exchange rate, inflation, interest rates on deposits, and trading volume of the Shares Return either partial or in Simultaneous In Banking Companies Listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange Period 2009-2012". The analytical method used in this research is descriptive and verification methods. Verification method is the method used to test a hypothesis by using a statistical test, namely, t-test ( both partial ) and Test-F ( in Simultaneous ), with a significance level ( α ) = 0.05 or 5%. Data analysis was performed using statistical data processing software , namely SPSS 17.0 for Windows. Partial test results ( t-test ) showed that, Value Exchange positive and significant impact on stock returns, inflation does not significantly affect the Stock Return, Deposit Rate not significantly affect the Stock Return and Trading Volume Stocks positive and significant effect Return on Equity. Simultaneous test results ( Test-F ) showed that, Value Exchange, Inflation, Interest Rate Deposit and Stock Trading Volume in Simultaneous positive and significant impact on stock returns.
