Title: PENGARUH TINGKAT SUKU BUNGA DEPOSITO, GROSS DOMESTIC PRODUCT (GDP), NILAI KURS, TINGKAT INFLASI DAN JUMLAH UANG BEREDAR TERHADAP PERMINTAAN OBLIGASI SWASTA DI INDONESIA

Abstract: The issue of a corporation obligation is one method of procuring instantly funds for use to meet short-range financing of the corporation. In addition, the corporation obligation is anticipated to collect the public funds, domestic and foreign financial investors in order that they have interests in controlling over the corporation obligation, and to improve the corporation performance in financial sector. This research is designed to understand the effects of the Deposit Interest Rate, Gross Domestic Product, Rate of Exchange, Inflation and Money Supply, both partially and simultaneously, on the Demand of Indonesian Private Obligation in period of 2003-2012. Therefore, the author choose the title of “The Effects of the Deposit Interest Rate, Gross Domestic Product, Rate of Exchange, Inflation and Money Supply, both partially and simultaneously, on the Demand of Private Obligation in Indonesian.” The statistic instruments used are regression, correlation, determination and the examination of hypothesis by using t-test (partially) and F-test (simultaneously), at significance are (α) = 0.05 or 5%. The data analysis is using statistic data processing software, a SPSS 17.0 program for windows. The results of the testing suggest that, partially (t-Test), Gross Domestic Product, Rate of Inflation, and Money Supply have not significant effects on the Demand of Private Obligation. Rather, the Rate of Deposit Interest have negative, but not significant, effect on the Demand of Private Obligation, and the Rate of Exchange (IDR/USD) have negative, significant effect on the Demand of Private Obligation in Indonesia. Meanwhile, the results of the testing suggest that, simultaneously (F-Test), the Rate of Deposit Interest, Gross Domestic Product, Rate of Exchange, Rate of Inflation, and Money Supply have significant effects on the Demand of Private Obligation in Indonesia.
