Title: PENGARUH CAPITAL ADEQUACY RATIO (CAR), NON PERFORMING LOAN (NPL), RETURN ON ASSET (ROA), NET INTEREST MARGIN (NIM) DAN BIAYA OPERASIONAL PENDAPATAN OPERASIONAL (BOPO) TERHADAP LOAN TO DEPOSIT RATIO (LDR) PADA BANK BUMN YANG TERCATAT DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA PERIODE 2008-2012

Abstract: This study is aimed to examine the effect of the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), the Non Performing Loans (NPL), the Return On Assets (ROA), the Net Interest Margin (NIM) and the Operating Expenses Operating Income (BOPO) of the Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR). The object of this study is the financial reports of a state-owned bank in the period of 2008-2012 . The analysis technique used is the classical assumption test, the simple regression analysis, the regression analysis, the analysis of the correlation coefficient, and the coefficient of determination analysis. Whereas the hypothesis used is the t-test statistics for testing the partial regression coefficients and F- statistics for the simultaneous regression coefficient test with a significance level 5%. Based on the four classical assumption tests, there were not found any variable deviation which differ from the classic assumption. Thus, it shows that the available data has been qualified in using the multiple linear regression model. The result of this study indicates that simultaneous independent variables; CAR, NPL, ROA, NIM and BOPO by F test, simultaneously affect the LDR. The result partially done by t-test showed that the variable; CAR and ROA are not partially had effect on LDR with a significance level of 0,299 and 0,06. Variables ROA and NIM partially had positive effect on LDR with a significance level of 0,001 and 0,000. While the NPL variable partially had negative effect on LDR with a significance level of 0,024. The resulting coefficient of determination is equal to 0,608 or 60,8%. This value indicates that the contribution of CAR, NPL, ROA, NIM and BOPO of LDR is equal to 60,8%. Meanwhile, the rest of 39,2% caused by the other factors outside the under study model.
